Mission: Reviews and recommends position descriptions for all staff. Reviews and recommends staff compensation and benefits packages. Developes and recommends personnel policies. Encourages professional growth and development for all staff. Recommends ways to manage human resource risk exposure. Developes and implements a plan of equal employment opportunities, developed in consulation with the Presbytery and approved by Session. Provides for and administers a performance review process. Assigns committee members to act as advocates for staff members. Confers with the pastor on any important issues of concern, such as personnel policies, compensation, professional development, work planning, performance evaluation, staff relationships, study leaves and sabbaticals, and other matters referred to it by the Session.
