Vacation Bible School

DATES: June 19-23, 2017

maker fun factory vbs

Imagine a world where curious kids become hands-on inventors, who discover they're lovingly crafted by God. Kids will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of Jesus’ love and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Maker Fun Factory Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at noon!

The cost is $25 per child, with a $50 max per family. Register by Sunday, June 11 and receive a FREE VBS t-shirt.  Scholarships are available upon request.

To have the best adventure possible, we need lots of volunteers! Adults and youth (entering 7th grade and older) can help!  Here are a few ideas about ways you might be able to make this program a success. Please check out the following list, and then pray about where God might use you.

Station Leaders: Use easy-to-follow station leader manuals and prepare one 20-minute session each day, which you will repeat with four different groups of approximately 20 kids.

Crew Leaders for elementary children and preschoolers: Shepherd a mixed-age group of about five children through each day’s activities…and there’s no preparation!

Registration begins May 1. Participants and volunteers can register online by clicking the link below or stop by the VBS table located next to the Sunday School check-in area. Online registration will be closed after Sunday, June 11. You are able to register in person or stop by the church office up until the day of the event. Payments can be mailed, dropped off at the church office or paid on the first day. We do not accept online payments at this time.
