Youth Ministry

Every year, the highschoolers from John Knox prepare for summer mission work by praying, fellowshipping, and fundraising. From car washes to spaghetti dinners, the Youth give of their time and talents to raise money for their trip. Mission trips provide the foundation of generosity for many youth, who continue to serve others past their time in Youth Group.

The summer mission trips are the highlight of our program's alumni! Each cohort has the opportunity to do three trips stateside and one abroad during their high school years. Mission fields have included: Charleston, WV; Pine Ridge, SD; Esteli, Nicaragua; and more.

Some adults and parents are needed as chaperones and "muscle" for these trips! Talk to your student if you're considering helping!

There are other ways to be involved if you feel called to serve through Youth Mission! Click here to email our Youth Pastor, and find out how your unique talents can be of assistance!

Welcome to John Knox Presbyterian Church Youth Ministry!    We value youth and their contribution to the life of our congregation.  We hope that we can provide a safe space for youth to explore their faith, express doubt, explore the Bible and have a lot of fun. In addition to Sunday School at the 11 o’ clock hour, we have youth groups for grades 6-8 and 9-12, as well youth are woven into the life of the church as they volunteer at events for children, participate in worship, and so much more.   If you are interested in more information, please contact our Associate Pastor, Susanne Bendoraitis at or our Midweek Program Coordinator, Mindi Schibley at
