And what a chorus of generosity and joy we hear around John Knox.

Children (and a few adults) bouncing around in 4 feet of foam on Rally Day.

Toddlers in Toddler Time and Preschoolers in our nearly full Preschool laughing, learning, and knowing they are safe and loved.

Disciples of all ages sharing life and scripture in Bible studies and workshops.

Choir, bells, flutes and voices on Sunday morning joining in song and prayer.

Quiet tones in yoga and Healing Prayer.

Compassionate and giddy tones amongst the knitters, quilters, and gardeners.

Preparing, chopping, serving and cleaning for the Community Meal, Dinners for 8, and Cooking Club with our Turkish neighbors.

These are just  a few of the many tones that contribute to the generous chorus here at John Knox. I celebrate all the ways you lend your voice, heart, hands and financial gifts to make sure this chorus, started and sustained by God, continues to resound not just in our building but far beyond. Now is not the time to hold back or be timid with the gifts you have been given. Now is the right time to be brave and join in the Chorus of Generosity and joy and justice. Now is also the right time to invite others to find their place in God’s beautiful song.
