YOUTH MISSION TRIP 2025:

KENOSHA, WISCONSON

The youth had a beautiful mission trip to Kenosha, Wisconsin from July 6-11. During the trip, the team served at a local achievement center for individuals with disabilities helping in the garden, hanging out with the residents, and cleaning vans as well as at an all girls Christian school through organizing materials, cleaning out rooms, wrapping and packing items into boxes as they were moving locations. It was amazing to see God working in and through the community on our trip during this week. At our programs through GROUP, we learned about tools that we can use to EQUIP us through challenges that we face. Through the actions of evaluate, question, understand, improve, and proclaim, we can feel equipped to face challenges when they appear and remember that God always with us.

Mission Trips

Our youth are passionate about mission! Therefore, they are seen as being a part of mission near and far. Over the years, our mission projects may vary, but our youth remain excited and involved in the mission work that we encounter. Recently, our youth have spent their youth mission trip serving in the local Cleveland community such as through Building Hope in the City's Summer Camp working alongside kiddos through mentorship, spirited games, worship, and vibrant activities. This summer, we will be serving in Kenosha, Wisconsin among ongoing community service projects such as living and memory care centers, food distribution centers, and summer camps. Throughout the year, our youth continue to be involved in JKPC mission projects to support our church and local community. We are so proud of our youth for their service and faith to so many amazing mission projects over the years.
