Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Join us for VBS 2023!

It is going to be out of this world

Our program will be in-person, June 26 - 29 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

This is a drop-off program for kids pre-k (potty trained) through 5th grade. Older kids can help out - contact the office for more info!

Kids will learn VBS songs, go on Bible Adventures, use science-y fun gizmos, create crafts, play games, have a snack, and much more! This program is appropriate for both those new to faith and regular attenders.

Check out some videos from a past VBS program!

The first week, our Bible Buddy Ramsey, a big horned sheep, helped us to learn how Jesus’ power helps us do hard things (trust Jesus!). Our Bible point was Philippians 4:13, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” This verse is so helpful right now as we’re all facing tough times!

The second week we learned all about Jesus’ power to give us hope! Ava the red-tailed hawk was our Bible Buddy for the week. Paul’s encouragement in a storm and shipwreck from Acts 27 and Psalm 31:24 remind us to hope in the Lord. What gives you hope?

The third week we joined our Bible Buddy Sierra (a mountain lion, roar!) to remind ourselves that Jesus’ power helps us be bold. Isaiah 40:29 says that “He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless” and we’re reminded of this in Acts 3:1-4:31.

For the fourth and final week, we met two Bible Buddies, Lawrence the elk, and Finn a rainbow trout. We learned that Jesus’ power helps us be good friends through Acts 2:42-47 & 4:32-35 and the unification of the church. On VBS Sunday, we learned more about Jesus’ power letting us to live forever as seen in Romans 8:11, “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.”

It was a busy month full of singing, crafts, fun, and learning about Jesus. We couldn’t have done it without our adaptive staff and fearless volunteers! Thank you for joining us!
